Press Conference: Announcing new media and partners in Step Up Steve campaign

August 3, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

Step Up Steve (www.StepUpSteve.org) is a group of 501c3 nonprofit organizations that came together around the common goal of educating the public and securing better outcomes from our elected officials on conservation and environmental policies.

Our coalition contends that Steve Pearce’s voting record is out of touch with the positions of most southern New Mexicans on public lands, renewable energy, and conservation. We want to increase attention on his record so his constituents can ask him to “Step Up” and do a better job at fighting for New Mexican values.

Each Step Up Steve partner has a unique perspective on public lands but we share the belief that Rep. Steve Pearce is not representing our interests as New Mexicans regarding public lands in our state.
What: Step Up Steve Press Conference, announcing new media holding Rep. Steve Pearce accountable for his votes and quotes regarding public lands, including Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument
